Throughout the CBS series Big Bang Theory, actress Mayim Bialik, who portrays Amy Farrah Fowler, became known for her harp-playing skills. However, Bialik recently dropped a bombshell about Leonard and Penny's wedding episode. Despite playing the harp on the show, Bialik revealed that she had to learn to play it for the role.

While she is proficient in playing the piano, bass, and trumpet, she only learned to play the harp rudimentarily. Therefore, when it came to Leonard and Penny's wedding, where an elaborate performance was required, Bialik admitted that she did not play the harp. Nevertheless, she reassured fans that she can play REM's "Everybody Hurts" well enough.
