Magic Johnson, considered the greatest point guard of all time, never wanted to play with Michael Jordan despite their immense respect for one another. During an interview, Johnson explained that he preferred playing only with his own teammates and felt competitiveness made sports special. Although Johnson had incredible success with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy, one can only imagine how dominant a duo of Magic and MJ would have been. The two played together on Team USA during the 1992 Olympics, winning gold. Both players share a similar mindset towards the NBA, valuing competitiveness and a desire to play every game.
