CBS has announced renewals for nine series, including popular dramas such as CSI: Vegas, NCIS, and NCIS: Hawai'i. The network has also renewed unscripted shows like The Amazing Race, Lingo, Survivor, and Tough as Nails, as well as long-running newsmagazines 48 Hours and 60 Minutes. In addition to these renewals, CBS has already picked up some first-year shows and comedies, bringing the total number of series picked up to 19 out of the 24 that aired this season.
